Stop the Clock on McCain

It only took, what?, 3 months for McCain to go the Swift Vote route. Just months after saying he intended to run a clean campaign, John McCain has begun to show his true colors.

1. While bashing Obama and Hill over tax returns, he has yet to have this trophy wife release her recent tax returns. She's filthy rich, and I am guessing the amount will make McCain's poor man routine look pathetic.

2. But, here's the Swift Boating. Viet Nam is back baby. To be fair, Hill has brought this up apparently during that ABC debate I missed this week due to attending a class. Here's the graft in the story I point to: "William Ayers — a former member of the Weather Underground, which embraced bombing in its effort to end the Vietnam War — became an issue in the Democratic nominating race at last week’s debate. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) said Obama’s past meetings with Ayers are part of a “larger set of concerns about how we are going to run against John McCain.'” The graft at then end here says John McCain, but I'm assuming that was a typo and meant Obama.

Could we please move beyond Viet Nam? OY!

As badly as Kerry handled the Swift Schamers...I hope Obama and/or Hill has their ducks in a row to lay some smack. Clearly, this issue is lost to McCain, but we still have to show some fight, and we can't let McCain feel so confident he can lay a big whopper of a lie out there and have it completely unchallenged because the candidate is too chicken shit to touch the subject.
