Obama show AGAIN why Hill should stay in

If you read recent posts to this blog, you'll notice I love Obama's politics, his voting record, and his rhetoric.

But, my argument ALL along in arguing for Hill to stay in was because Obama isn't full tested. She's clearly more moderate, while I fall into the left liberal wing of the party.

Perhaps the biggest rule in politics: Perception is reality.

Obama again stumbles with his "bitter" commentary in Pennsylvania (a key swing state the Dems MUST win in Nov.).

Factually, Obama is accurate. Hell, I'm bitter. I'm bitter about 2000. But, I also have a large worldview and I look at the big picture when arguing my politics. I'm a realist.

However, most white men won't much appreciate told they are bitter by a young, black man. Not to mention a young, black man who they probably see as inexperienced, and perhaps a "creation" of sorts of the liberal media.

Obama cannot afford these kinds of mis-steps in the general election. I don't think he'll lose against McCain, but if he makes enough silly statements that allow Republican radio to paint him as an elitist, jackass...the repos may get themselves another miracle circa 2000.
