ABC Debate

I applaud ABC television's decision to air their debate live on the air during prime time hours yesterday. We need more debates like this, in the prime time hours, and live on the big 3...fine the big 4 if your count Fox.

I am hearing criticism about said debate, and I haven't paid attention as to why. But, i did see some were annoyed that a former Clinton staffer...apparently it's a big scandal or something. Look, no matter who you get to moderate the debate there will always be some group bitching about the host/hostess. For the record, George was BILL Clinton's advisor, not Hillary's. Moreover, the Clinton's were known to be very miffed when George dumped his book "All Too Human" which skewered them in some respects.

In all honesty, I didn't see the debate. I was taking a class last night, so I was busy (yes, teachers DO continue take courses after they gain employment parents, unlike you who just fuck each other and develop a spawn).

It sounds like the debate was spirited, and both candidates were scrutinized through different parts of the debate, even having Hillary issue an apology for mis-speaking about the sniper fire incident/thing.

But, in the end, after not even seeing the debate, I still give ABC props for putting it on air during the prime time hours. My guess is what we are really hearing is jealousy from other networks (*cough* NBC, CBS) who didn't expect the debate to get the good ratings it seems to have gotten.

Great choice ABC.
