The Olympic Torch

Should've seen this whole bru-ha-ha coming after my post a while back saying we should not just boycott the Opening Ceremonies, as some like Nancy Pelosi have urged, I want to boycott the whole damned thing.

The organization that gave this Olympics to China should learn from this experience. There's not reason to continue to award an event like the Olympics to a country with such the horrific human rights record as China. Between the smog problems they are likely to encounter because they don't give a damn about the environment there, and the human rights problems, the world could have leveraged this far better and for far more concessions than they did.

It's sad when something like the Torch has to be put out twice in one day because of protesters.
