Linens -N- Things...GONE!

Per this story from one of the sites I check daily (Consumerist), Linens -N- Things is apparently going to apply for bankruptcy Tuesday.

I always wondered how they AND Bed, Bath & Beyond could both survive. They're basically the same store, but BB&B has/had the much better name.

When considering Linens -N- Things, I always thought of something like JoAnn Fabrics...even though they are NOTHING like JoAnn's. Something about the word "Linens" makes one think it's basically store full of...well...linens. Bad choice for a name...think part of their plan should be to re-brand and rename the store.

That's if they actually survive.
