I have never understood why/how the Vatican became their own freaking lot of land with their very own sovereignty.

Good thing Vatican City isn't in America. I'd be screaming for taking over that land via the eminent domain clause.

Of course, there are always good uses and bad uses by governments/states when utilizing this clause. But, in general I like the clause and think governments should use it more often to get shit done that needs to be done.

Clearly, the Pope is a farce of epic proportions. While he may "do" more than the Queen of England in terms of actually affecting change, affecting policy, he's a bigger waste of a human gas-bag.

To not publicly address and privately meet with at least SOME of the people affected by the sex abuse scandal is pathetic, and a scandal in my view in and of itself.

The fact that Bernard Law is still breathing air is a scandal, much less he's got a nice cushy job courtesy of who?...oh yeah, that "Pope" guy again. Fuck Law, and Fuck the Pope.
