I have YET to hear any rational argument explaining why there is a Puerto Rico primary for the Dems. Last time I checked, Puerto Rico is NOT a state of the country.
I has no vote in the Selectoral College...and I would hope their vote tally is not counted in the "popular vote" totals of elections past.
This is moronic. The whole delegate process is moronic. When the Selectoral College is an all-or-nothing adventure, the Dems should make their primary in much the same way. You either win and carry the state or you don't; Because if you get 455 votes in the general in the state of Montana, and you opponent get 456 votes...you're fucked.
Moreover, this caucus stuff is crap. Voting is inherently a private matter, and it should remain so. To force people to make their vote known to neighbors is highly unfair. Didn't we all learn about the bad effects of peer pressure, and the idea of "group think" that doomed the Challenger Space Shuttle?
Challenger crashed because 17 monkeys in a room met about the o-rings and determined they were okay, while one of those monkeys didn't think so. He felt the silent pressure to not say anything and not "jeopardize the mission." That mindset led to a brilliant mission...oh yeah, but people DIED...whoops! OUR BAD!
P.S. Call me crazy, but Hillary spoke the truth. Politically she never should have said it, and she has irreparably harmed her candidacy. She's toasted. But, keep in mind this woman has been running for President for two years. Bitch is tired. Let's cut her some slack. Sometimes speaking the truth can be the most deadly of sins. She committed it, cut her a break.
A Good Feeling
