Pet Peeve - Number 5,728

If you drive an automobile, picture yourself in said automobile.

Picture yourself driving your automobile onto a ramp and going down that cloverleaf turn and coming just near the bottom where you must merge with some oncoming, faster traffic.

Now, picture yourself in your automobile coming to a complete freaking stop!!!!

If you are one of the people who doesn't need to imagine it because you do it every day, then take a knife from your kitchen and stab yourself in your eye.

I've been driving a while and I have yet to see any semblance of a freaking STOP SIGN at the end off the cloverleaf!! I've seen a few yield signs which I think are moronic and I ignore, but never a full on STOP.

You are not supposed to stop people, you are supposed to keep moving so you can...and here's the keyword...MERGE!...with on-coming traffic. You cannot, by it's very definition be at a complete stop in your automobile and merge at the same time. It physically is impossible.

So, all you imbeciles out there who stop at the end of cloverleaf exits, I urge you to keep moving. PLEASE!! Otherwise, we may have to forcibly remove you from the gene pool.
