More proof horse-racing needs to end immediately

Per the AP News Service:

Jockey hurt and his horse whacked during first race at Churchill Downs in Kentuckay. Another horse was whacked during the 4th race at Churchill as well.

Interesting note, last line of the article: "A recent Associated Press survey found that thoroughbred racetracks in the U.S. reported more than three horse deaths a day last year and 5,000 since 2003, and the vast majority were put down after suffering devastating injuries on the track."

3 horse deaths a day???!!!...3 a day? Yeah, this is total bullshit.
