Covering songs

I have been reminded of a truism I have held for a while...artists covering songs of other artists...totally stinks.

Even when it has been my fave artist @ a live concert...I cannot stand it.

I hereby submit a solid 90-95% of covered songs end up screwing up the song in a bad way.

I could be wrong, but I hyighly doubt it.
