NFL and their shitty overtime system

It's 5 after 10pm here in the east and the NFC Championship game just went into overtime. I abhor the NFL's OT system. It sucks in the regular season, and it's beyond a shitty way to decide a winner in the playoffs.

In the NFL, the OT is started by a coin toss, and the team who wins the toss wins the chance to either receive a kick and go on offense, or take the defensive position. The stats show that whomever wins the coin toss and takes the ball on offense first wins not a majority of the games. But, it's still a stupid way to decide a game, much less a playoff game when the regular season is a scant 16 games and there is no best of series.

It's just like the soccer morons who decide their winner of the freaking World Cup by a shootout. It's moronic. The NFL doesn't want to change their system for the regular season, fine. But, they must change it in the playoffs.
