Arlen "Abraham" Specter has always been a weasel. Leave it to him to do something completely self-aggrandizing and something that will inevitably save his own arse.
However, this weasel didn't show such humility when Sen. Jim Jefford's switched from the Republican party to the Independent party in 2001.
The real story today should have been simply: Why has Al Franken NOT been seated yet?!?!?!?! This is fucking ridiculous.
